Thanksgiving 2017

Happy Thanksgiving to all of the 410 family. This time of year is often a great time to reflect on the blessings in our lives. Too often we are found saying “this is my life” in a dumming down of all of the things we have done. “My car wouldn’t start this morning. This is my life.” It can be a challenge at times but we should always take a few minutes each day to look around at all that we do have and all that we have done.

As a gym community we have plenty to be thankful for and in turn I have plenty to be thankful for. There are certainly days that I look around at all of the people in a class and all of the equipment we have accumulated and I cant believe that I played a part in building that.

I am so very thankful that we have a place where we can go for an hour and turn off the outside world (why I like the gym being a cell phone free zone).

I am thankful that there is a large community of people eager to help and support one another when times get tough.

I am thankful for all of the hard work put in by folks during a class.

I am thankful for the opportunity to help and support our veteran community.

I am thankful for the opportunity to do what I love and to give people happiness and health in return.

“Happiness isn’t measured by accumulation but by appreciation.”
