Coach Sam, Clinical Social Worker LCSW-C, Pregnancy and Postpartum Athleticism Coach, CF-L1, CF-L2, offers private training, group classes and consultations for prenatal and postpartum athletes who are looking for a more focused approach to their fitness. Training focuses on breathing patterns, strategies to manage intra abdominal pressure, tension, position and movement to help preserve core and pelvic floor health through pregnancy and postpartum.
This training is for anyone who is planning to become pregnant, currently pregnant or postpartum. This could mean anyone who has had a baby within the last couple of years and/or anyone who has had an abortion or experienced a miscarriage or loss in the last 12 months.
Training focuses on breathing patterns, strategies to manage intra abdominal pressure, tension, position and movement to help preserve core and pelvic floor health through pregnancy and postpartum.
Consultation: Schedule a one-on-one 60-minute meeting to discuss your individual needs. This can include any of the following and more:
- Plans covering preconception, prenatal, birth, or postpartum
- Answers to questions surrounding motherhood transition
- Recommendations on how to best support physiological adaptations based on where you are in your birth journey
Individual training and group classes will provide a strength and conditioning program individualized to your needs. A typical session will include:
